Beach Wedding Hair Accessories

Once again, the flare of romance can be felt - another wedding! Isn't it exciting? Either you are just a guest in a wedding, part of the entourage, or the bride herself, it is still a must that you should have a good hair accessory for the event.

Wedding Hair Accessories

Weddings always have a motif, and these days, it seems like every wedding you have seen, went to, or heard of, has themes. Garden weddings, beach weddings, woodland-themed weddings, spring weddings, winter weddings - actually, there are all kinds of weddings!

The human imagination is simply endless with its creativity and innovations. So, of course, being part of the wedding celebration, you must be one with the motif and the theme.

Hair accessories complete the look, making you look polished, and beautiful. Usually, weddings would have combs or hair pins with colored stones or crystals in it - beautiful, but it's quite common already.

For themes such as winter weddings, spring weddings, it works well anyhow. However, how about for beach weddings? There are a lot that you can use for this kind of theme. Here are some ideas:

Pearls Starfish comb

Noting that with such design it is just between the small and medium sizes of hair combs, it will blend beautifully as an accent to your hair.

Adorned in pearls, it will make you look like an island girl with a beautiful beach wedding - with your beauty glowing in the sunset.

Crystals Starfish hair pin

This is quite similar to the starfish hair comb, but obviously much smaller. This can be used solo or perhaps in two's or three's. Using it solo may look good with either brushed up or let down hair.

However, using two or three of these would probably look good with a brushed up hair style - as if you were some siren princess who got out of the water with some sparkling starfish in your hair.

Starfish-Orchid comb

Have you noticed how the orchid and the starfish can be quite similar? It's easy to morph them together. An orchid design with some crystals in the middle forming the shape of a starfish would also be a unique head piece for the event. Beach weddings include tropical flowers, creatures - tropical everything! It would be ingenious to morph it into one.

Pearl-Beach comb

This may range between the medium to large size of hair combs. A beach comb is simply a hair comb adorned with objects found in the beach. In this case, the design is pearls.

Randomly situated on the comb, the pearls would look care free and casual - yet elegant, noting its material. It would be a perfect hair piece for members of the entourage.

Shells and crystals tiara

Aside from hair pins and hair combs, you can also opt for a tiara. Tiaras simply transform the wearer into a princess. With shells and crystals making up the tiara's design, it simply gets the mood on for the beach wedding.

With these hair accessories, you can add a real ‘beach' essence to your beach wedding.

6 Tips For Your Wedding Hairstyle Trial Run

A consultation is not just about hair but getting comfortable with each other. If you don't seem to be getting the attention to details you desire or the stylist is not accommodating move on. Also look around the salon, is it clean? Is it updated? First impressions matter.
  4. Arm yourself with what the design world calls "tear sheets" Gather as many hairstyles as you can find. Look in hairstyling magazines as well as bridal magazines and tear out the pages. If you have arranged for some option to bring them and try them all. This is what a trial run is for.

Some Tips on Wedding Hairstyles

Wedding hairstyles are one of the most important aspects of a wedding day. People say that the day they were married was the best day of their life.

Then you might ask them about their hair. And guess what? They’ll still remember. Out of all the things they might talk about - the special song, their first married kiss - the way they wore their hair is still one of their strongest memories of that amazing day.

So, what hairstyle did they have? For many women, they’ll go and get their hair done at a salon, but it’s still very difficult to choose the right look. There are many beautiful wedding hairstyles, and each of them looks different for each individual. So, how to choose?

A first step to take could be deciding whether you want your hair up or down, tight or loose. From there, you could choose the ornaments you want in your hair, such as jeweled clips or flowered pins. One of the prettiest wedding hairstyles I have ever seen was when the bride had her hair loosely piled on top of her head in a flower arrangement design; the flowers adorned the whole back of her head with several loose curls falling onto her back.

To personalize this look, you could choose to place small white jewels into the flowers, add the perfect earrings, and your look would be complete. After putting on the beautiful wedding dress, you could walk out there and render the whole crowd speechless.

Reminiscing about their wedding day is something many women still do, as it was usually a wonderful moment in their life where they enjoyed themselves immensely. All the preparations and festivities during the wedding ceremony contributed to the happiness they felt that day.

Having chosen their favorite of all the wedding hairstyles available and clothed in the stunning wedding dress, the day was absolutely perfect. If you have short hair, you can search short wedding hairstyles to find some great short wedding haircut pictures.

Wedding Hairstyles for the Bride

Wedding Hairstyles for the Bride picture

In a wedding, the bride and the groom is where too much attention is given. But most likely it’s the bride who is given more attention compared to the groom.

As much as the bridal gown needs to be beautiful with added accessories on them in order to enhance its beauty, the bride herself needs a little bit accessories too. In terms of hair styling  the bride does need that extra effort to look stunning and beautiful on her wedding day.

During the wedding, all eyes are on the bride and the groom. But as to the bride it will definitely start from head to toe. So, the head which consists of the hair and the face should look perfect. This is the reason why having a beautiful wedding hairstyle should be put on emphasis.

Here are step-by-step guidelines in getting that wedding hairstyle that suits for you:

1. In Line with the Wedding Theme

This should be the first thing that should come to mind. If your wedding is more of a romantic theme, then it would be definitely a big no-no if you will have a Japanese Gothic hairstyle right?

There should be coordination between the wedding theme, your wedding gown and most especially your hairstyle.

2. Hair Accessories

It will be noted that there are some brides who do not wear any veil and others who would want to wear a veil. This plays an important part when it comes to hair accessories.

If you opt to wear a veil make sure that the accessories are well-secured. If you choose not to wear a veil, then there is no need to give an added effort making your accessories as secured as possible.

3. Matching the Hairstyle

There are a lot of factors that you should consider before choosing a hairstyle. You should have your hairstyle matched to your figure and personality. Indeed personal preferences are given priority.

However, there are other things that should be considered in order to get that beautiful look that every bride dreamt of on her wedding day. Be sure that the hairstyle should match with the wedding dress and shoes too. There should be coordination between these things.

Bottom line is wedding hairstyle should incline with everything from the wedding theme, dress, shoes, figure down to the bride’s personality.

It’s not all about getting a hairstylist and let him or her do the work. It is your wedding day, and you should be the most beautiful woman on that day and what a great way to do it is through having the perfect wedding hairstyle.

Wedding Hair Series - Bridesmaid Hairstyles

Bridsmaids Hairstyles Ideas

Bridesmaid hairstyles can’t be forgotten in my wedding hair series, so I am dedicating this article completely to bridesmaids. Personally, I am a fan of casual bridesmaid hairstyles.

Keeping the bridesmaid hairstyles more subdued, is just one more way to give the bride more of the spotlight on her big day. I prefer for the bride to stand out as much as possible, whether it comes to dresses, hairstyles or anything to do with the wedding.

However, I understand there are probably too many options out there to choose from, so here are some of my suggestions for bridesmaid hairstyles!
Bridesmaid Hairstyles 2013

Bridesmaid Hairstyles - Sleek and Simple Up  Dos

Sleek and simple bridesmaid hairstyles, worn in classy updos, is a great choice for a formal event. You can choose to do different updo hairstyle for each bridesmaid, or you can opt to have all of your attendants wearing the same bridesmaid hairstyle, which is really a classy look!

With a formal event, I would strongly suggest hiring a professional hairdresser to do the bridesmaid hairstyles, since most, if not all the bridesmaids will not know how to style their hair this way.

Bridesmaid  Hairstyles -  Half Updos

I love this hairstyle for bridesmaids because it looks attractive on most everybody and  doesn’t require everyone to have the same length of hair.

You can wear just a bit of hair up, if you have very short strands, or you can put more up if your hair is longer.

Perfect for showing off a bridesmaid dress with a great neckline, this bridesmaid hairstyle is contemporary and will work for just about everyone and just about any dress.

Bridesmaid Hairstyles - The Side Pony

One of my favorite bridesmaid hairstyles is a side ponytail. The side ponytail is so versatile because it can be worn sleek and smooth for a formal event or it can be styled full of volume and body for a more laid back affair.

You can also add accessories such as fresh flowers, or something sparkly, to spice up the bridesmaid hairstyle even more. This hairstyle is also easy on the budget because most women with long enough hair to do this, can easily style their hair into a side ponytail.

Remember to match your bridesmaid hairstyles, with the tone of the event, just as you would coordinate any other part of the wedding. A formal event calls for formal hairstyles and it follows, a casual event calls for equally laid-back bridesmaid hairstyles.

Wedding Hair Styles

If your hair is short, you might think your options for wedding hair styles are limited. After all, most bridal hair magazines feature romantic up dos and rivers of cascading curls. But you can have a lot of fun getting your short hair ready for the big day.

Wedding Hair Styles Ideas

If you normally wear your hair straight and close to the head, then try something different. Get your stylist to add some waves or curls. Break out the molding clay, putty or strong hold hair spray. Give your hair extra volume and lift. Separate the strands. Feathers, beads, or flowers woven through the strands create delightful eye candy.

Sometimes a change is all you need to feel glamorous and gorgeous for the day. But if you just have to have long flowing tresses on your wedding day, there are always extensions.

Just remember that one of the greatest benefits of short hair is minimal styling time required. So instead of fussing over your hair on the morning of the wedding, you'll be ready (and relaxed) before anyone else!

Medium Length

Today's style mavens favor the '40s look for mid length hair - sleek, shiny, with a gentle wave that communicates femininity a la Grace Kelly. Pair that with a minimalistic hairpiece, veil or feather fascinator, and you have a retro look that will rock your 21st century wedding.

Another popular retro style is the neck bun, where hair is slicked back, fastened at the nape of the neck, and poofed into a soft, sleek shape. A few sprigs of baby's breath, a jeweled comb or barrette are the only icing needed on this cake.

Alternatively, the lengths can be arranged and pinned in a multitude of loose loops framing the back of the head, reminiscent of a Greek goddess.

Shoulder length hair can also be swept into an up do by an experienced stylist who knows how to keep the shorter wisps from slipping out. And having a few tendrils curled and hanging loose is an incredibly romantic look. The half-up half-down style is a nice mix of casual and elegant that's perfect for bridesmaids.

Another dramatic look for medium length hair is braids that start at the front and end in a bun or arrangement of curls at the back of the head.

Longer hair

How would we sum up bridal hair for summer ? Feminine. Romantic. Informal. And long hair makes it easy to bring that look to life.

Take, for instance, the ballerina bridal hairstyle. All hair is pulled back off the face into a tight pony then arranged into a controlled bun with a ribbon around its base for decoration.

Simple, poetic and graceful. While up dos will always be popular with brides, this year's loose, gentle curls dominate the bridal hair scene. One suggestion: create abundant waves and curls throughout the hair lengths, arrange some of it high on the head and allow the rest to drape naturally across the shoulders with tendrils carelessly falling at the sides.

Finally, affix a few simple blossoms around the base of the uplifted section. Tiaras and veils are perennial favorites but many modern brides are opting instead for partial veils, jeweled hair combs, real or artificial flowers, vintage headpieces, ribbons, lace and other adornment

Magnificent Wedding Hairstyles

Of course, at her wedding the bride wants to be the most beautiful and charming. But what if nature had not endowed girl with thick bushy hair?

To create a wedding hairstyle, lush and beautiful, you can use the overhead strands, and if this option is completely unacceptable, there are a number of methods to add a shock of hair missing splendor.
